TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM
Our real-time Original Equipment direct Tire Pressure Monitoring System (Tire Watch®) warns against sudden loss of pressure, and protects the driver from annoying breakdowns or even serious accidents due to tire failure.
Tire Watch® TPMS continuously monitors the correct inflation of the tires and their temperature. It provides an alert for dangerous low-pressure situations, adding greater safety for the driver and passengers according to regulation R 141. Properly inflated tires provide better stability, handling and braking.
TELEMATICS CONTROL UNIT
FMS standard interfaces can be sent by LDL’s Telematics unit to a back office solution of the customer’s choice, thus enabling fleet managers to not only control the standard Telematics parameters such as location, speed, etc, but also to control the tire pressure in real time. The Telematics hardware box, which is mounted in the cabin, also acts as a receiver unit for all wireless sensors, requiring no additional antennas except for Tire Watch® TPMS: resulting as a cost-effective and convenient solution.
PASSIVE ENTRY PASSIVE START (PEPS) TECHNOLOGY
This technology allows the driver to keep the key-fob in their pocket when locking, unlocking (Passive Entry) and starting the vehicle (Passive Start). The key is identified via several antennas. The vehicle is automatically unlocked when a button or sensor is pressed.
The system that allows “Hands-Free” is based on two way wireless communication (challenge/response) established by the immobilizer cryptography and allows for Passive Start back-up in low-battery condition (Limp home mode).
