Founded in 2004, LID Technologies designs innovative, reliable, and environmentally friendly wireless embedded electronic systems.

From tire pressure measurement to hands-free access systems and telematics solutions, our products are used in various automotive markets such as trucks, buses & trailers, motorcycles, cars, etc.

For more than 20 years, innovation has been at the heart of our DNA: 25 active patents, strong R&D and a culture that values ideas and initiative.

In 2023, LID Technologies joined the international Amphenol group, thereby strengthening its global reach.

WIRELESS & HARDWARE

We design and develop high-performance embedded hardware and wireless systems for automotive sensors, telematics, and connected devices.

We combine expertise in RF architecture, antenna integration, and low-power electronics to deliver reliable connectivity, while ensuring compliance with EMC standards and global RF regulatory certifications.

TESTING

We develop our own in-house testing tools to support product development and supply dedicated test equipment to our EMS partners, enabling reliable validation and functional testing throughout the entire cycle — from development to end customer delivery.

We also provide diagnostic tools, customised HMIs complemented by mobile applications for Android and iOS.

SYSTEM

We define and architect complete system solutions for customer applications.

We manage System requirements, interfaces, and subsystem integration, including validation on vehicles to ensure robust performance, scalability, and reliable operation in demanding environments

SOFTWARE

We develop real-time embedded software on 8- to 32-bit industry-proven microcontroller platforms from trusted semiconductor partners.

We design firmware, communication protocols, and reliable software architectures which may be AUTOSAR-based, to ensure efficient performance and integration within connected systems.

MECHANICS

We design, develop and validate mechanical components and enclosures using CATIA V5 for our different product lines.

We focus on robust housing, thermal management, vibration resistance, and manufacturability to ensure reliability and seamless integration within complex systems.

PRODUCTION SITES

We operate through best-cost country strategies, combining competitive manufacturing with uncompromising quality.

Production is carried out with trusted EMS partners in Tunisia and Thailand, supported by IATF 16949-certified production lines.

This structure ensures cost efficiency, industrial reliability and global scalability.
